My Memories of USS Intrepid & HS-11

While going through some old photos, I came across many from my days aboard
serving as an AE in HS-11. The pictures here were taken while on a

North Atlantic/Med cruise March-September 1971. I look forward to your comments
especially if you served aboard at the same time.

USS Intrepid Earth Cam - This EarthCam camera is mounted high atop the Museum, a 40,000 Ton, 900 foot-long aircraft carrier. Launched in 1943, the USS Intrepid served the United States Navy for 31 years. This Essex class carrier, along with her 23 sister ships, formed the backbone of the United States Navy during the latter half of the Second World War.
